Enrique de la Hoz

I am an associate professor at the University of Alcalá (Spain), in the Telematics Engineering area, and a member of the NetIS (Networks and Intelligent Systems) research group. I am the director of the University of Alcalá's Master's Degree in Cybersecurity.

My research covers network and systems security, wireless network optimization through graph coloring, critical infrastructure resilience, and automated negotiation in multi-agent systems, the topic of my PhD thesis (2017). I am principal investigator of several research projects, including the national project MESH on metaheuristics for distributed optimization and the APT-GRAN project on cyber threat attribution with graph neural networks.

I teach networking and security courses in the Telecommunication and Computer Engineering degrees and in the Master's in Cybersecurity. In resources I publish the interactive visualizations I use in class, starting with Network Architecture I. I also publish the Polytechnic School timetables and courses as open data, with an application to browse them.
